Broken crank sprocket AGAIN

I'd want a long block, bang it off the rev limiter that sprocket will let go.
I may do that. I don't want another short block.

I ended up towing it to the dealership even though I was tempted to grenade the engine. They ordered a new long block this time thankfully.

Last time they gave me a new short block but I'm going to ask for a long block since this is the exact same problem again. The first time I drove the engine hard but couldn't get it to break. Good idea on the upgraded sprocket. What brand would you recommend? I was literally changing the oil today before purchasing AED tune :crazy:
You can do just the crank sprocket and timing chains without dropping the oil pan. That is only necessary if you are doing the oil pump gears too, although at this point I would recommend both.

And it's already back getting serviced. Started ticking loudly. Not the typewriter tick either according to the dealership. Just my luck. I'm starting to think this car is cursed 😐

Are you the original owner? I can't imagine 3 engines being bad. I thought I had bad luck.

Maybe have a different dealer install the next one?
