My next door neighbor has a 2013 Camaro. He also has three older kids (two college age and one high school age). When he was leaving for work the other morning, he saw me on my drive way and came over to tell me that each of his kids individually told him how "awesome" my new Mustang is.

I was washing both my cars today since it was nice. When I got to the Mustang, this kid on a tricycle (maybe 4 or 5 years old) was on the sidewalk with his mom walking alongside him. He sees the Stang and I could hear him say, "I want two cars like that!" and he kept pointing out my car to his mom. She kind of hurried him along. I could hear him go on about the car down the block.
Then they walked back up the block and he kept talking about my car again. He was trying to get her to look. I couldn't help but smile. I wanted to invite them to sit in the car, open the hood to show him the engine, etc. but she didn't look very interested in stopping so I just let it go. And I didn't wanna be that weird guy who talked to strangers.
I live near a school and a park so I get a lot of kids walk by. Sometimes I will be in the yard doing something and I'll hear or see a kid pointing it out to their parents, who will have zero interest. Then again I live in a place with a lot of Prius, granola muncher types who don't really like cars.
As I was washing it also, a cute chick rolled down her window and said, "if i park mine there, will you wash it?" I smiled and laughed. Somehow that never happens when I wash my Toyota lol.

The funniest experience in my car so far (by far) was going to visit family for the holidays in a tiny Kentucky town during a holiday parade. I happened to be the first car allowed to continue after the parade and about 90% of the people I passed thought I was part of the parade - there were definitely kids pointing, strangers waving, it was pretty funny. I don't think the cop car in front of me appreciated me stealing the show during his grand finale lol

Picked up my brother in high school on Friday and when we were about to leave a bunch of elementary or juinor high kids came out to play some basketball in the parking lot. They talked in awe of my car from about 10 feet away. Cool experience for me because I remember when I was at school there a secretary had a new edge V6 convertible and I wanted one so bad.
