Pulled up to Outback Steakhouse in the curbside service spot and had a few guys walking past the car and going crazy about how good it looks. As they were turning, I gave it a nice 2.5k rev (just got the corsa xtremes so it sounds sick!!). One of the guys came back and was smiling from ear to ear. Came to talk and give a bunch of compliments. Also gave me a business card for his mobile detailing service.

I thought trying to rev shift in an auto was pretty dangerous? I probably still won't try though considering how close Neutral is to Reverse, lol.
I would think they would design the shifter so between N and D requires no pressing the button.

Hmm, what button? Don't have any button to press when going from N to D, lol.

I drive an automatic. I'm confused and must be missing something. Going from N to D doesn't require pressing any button, so I'm not quite sure what he means by "requires no pressing the button". Sorry for being so slow if I'm still missing something here.

You're saying the same thing as him. Shifting from N to D doesnt require pressing a button like you would if you wanted to shift into P.

I was warming the car up the other night to drive and this woman was doing a Craigslist deal and she was in love with my car. We were talking about it a bit and so I went to shut off the engine and she said "no no I love the sound," and asked if I wanted to go up for a long drive up through the mountains. She said she'd like it better in black and was like, "Oh God I love it! What's her name? You take good care of her."

Today I left the car parked on the street at my dad's house where I garage it, and school let out. Every kid who walked by pointed the car out to their parents. One little boy tugged his mom's arm and said, "Fast mustang!" and she said "that's right, it is a nice Mustang,"

Race red really stands out, especially with the black PP wheels lol.

I've never had a car draw so much attention since I've only driven FWD cars; 1 VW coupe and 2 Toyota sedans, lol.

Took a road trip with 3 other female friends. Had to stop for gas in the middle of nowhere. Some guy came up to me as I was getting in my car and talked to me about the car and complimented it until my friends got impatient and I had to end the convo. He was probably in his early 40s, looked like a trucker type.

Guys always have the most shock on their faces when they see me get into my car. LOL. They make comments like "What are YOU doing with all that?" "Are you sure you can handle that much car? *smirk, smirk*"

Girls, pull up to my car at lights and look over, when they see it's a woman, they look away quickly.
I think it's great when I see a woman driving a Mustang! To me it's just means she must be cool.. I also say to myself, "now there's a woman who gets it" . A woman draped over the hood may look good, but a woman driving one , well that's the one you take home to meet your parents!! :headbang::headbang:

You drape any woman heavier than a blow up doll across these hoods, and you'll be replacing it!

I don't. Most of them around here at my campus don't give a damn that they're driving a mustang. Most of them have beat up V6 s197's gifted to them by their dads from their 16th birthday. I much prefer a dude with a GT who knows what car they're driving.

Sorry, I should clarify. I was warming the car up and a woman who was meeting a neighbour of mine to make a transaction off of Craigslist happened to roll up to make the deal while i was warming up, and we struck up a conversation.
