I was filling up the tank yesterday and a guy stopped me at the gas station and said he was this close to selling his '70 Mach One for a 2015+.

I thought that was pretty high praise.

Going to CVS, and after driving around for a bit, looking for parking, and older guy came up and asked what kind of engine it had..."It sounds incredible," he said.

In a Texas drive through (where you park in "Lane B"), and the guy keeps coming out to my car to take my payment, give me my receipt, give me my drink, and food. During his last trip out to give me the food he said "Nice car!" I grinned and said thanks.

I was at the Home Depot parking lot, putting my stuff away and a guy 2 stalls over while eating his lunch in his car asked how I liked my car. (After scaring me half to death)lol. Told him I luv it! He said it was beautiful! Mustangs are the best! I said thanks.

Went to fill up and saw a few people kinda hovering outside the convenience store. I start pumping gas and a questionable woman walks up behind me and says "Badass Mustang!" I said thanks and she started walking past my car towards the front. I thought I was done with her but she was walking around the whole car, looking.

She then came back towards me and said "Hey, sorry to bother you but can you spare a few bucks?" Uuuuugggggghhhh :frusty:

I've been pan-handled at the gas station more than any other place. Guess the beggers think it's a good place since it's high traffic area. And of course 90% of the beggars give you a 'hard luck story' about needing gas money to get back home or some shit .... yeah, right.

I live and work in Detroit, they are a plague here. You grow very cold to them. The thing is as long as their are foolish people giving them money, they will always exist. They seriously make more hourly then I do. Go on Youtube, there are videos of pan-handlers leaving their spot by the freeway and jumping in their new ride.

Drying my car at the local hand wash spot and a Sheriff pulled up next to me in his patrol car.

Convo went something like this:
Him: Hey is that the newest model mustang?
Me: Yes sir it's a 2016
Him: That thing looks mean! You do anything to it?
Me: Just the FRPP Catback.
Him: No intake?
Me: Nope from what I understand the Stock Airbox and a proper tune is just as good as any aftermarket intake.
Him: Really?
Me: Yep
Him: 5.0?
Me: Yep
Him: How fast have you taken it...
Me: 65mph

Him: Laughs out loud, shakes head... Have a good day and take care of that thing.
Me: Will do sir!!!
Him: Drives off still chuckling.

Haha I live in CA so I was just glad he didn't bust my chops for not having my front license plate mounted or my 35% tinted driver and passenger windows. He was a good sport about my tomfoolery.

Luckily this was in my hometown where I was visiting my parents. He seemed pretty tolerant and had a good laugh about my response. I don't think I have anything to worry about.
