Been running the GS1s for a couple of months now. Been very happy with them. Did a little spontaneous autocross with them and had no problems. The lower amount of dust is definitely appreciated!

Now, the R16s on track - that's a whole 'nother level. BEASTY

If the stock dust level is 10/10 where is your dust level with these new GS1 pads?

Hmmm...maybe 7/10? This is of course assuming that a 1/10 is compared to an uber, mild mannered street pad on economy car that produces virtually zero dust.

They don't come anywhere near eliminating brake dust (still a high performing pad), but they cut it down to the point where I can drive it pretty consistently and my rims don't turn brown :)

What are you guys doing with the rotors when you swap the brake pads. Technically they can't be resurfaced and should be changed.

I had mine resurfaced at a local Napa. new rotors would be ideal...but since my original rotors only had 6000 miles and 2 track days in them, I wasn't inclined to buy new ones.

I called a few places locally and no one will touch them because they are drilled.

Many won't. Takes a special attachment apparently. When I called Napa I asked them if they knew of a place that could do it. They recommend the place I went to.

To keep all the PNs in one thread can someone add the hardware that is needed and that slick caliper bolt glide thingy? Also any lubricant or thread goop needed? I like to build a brake pad replacement kit with all items needed and store in trailer.

Just swap pads and run them! You don't need to grind them. I do this all the time at the track. When they are glowing red hot, they have a tendency to surface themselves.
