I searched and didn't find the topic, but sorry if it's been discussed!

Brake Pads? Anyone switch brands for less dust? I used to run Hawk HP+ and HPS on my 98 track car and they were cleaner than the factory brakes on the 16. Just curious if anyone has autocrossed/tracked with something other than Ford pads. How was performance and dust?

I'm with you. I searched around and couldn't find any. The pad mfrs sites don't positively state that the pads they suggest actually fit the GT350, just for the current Mustang.

I think the stock pads offer a good compromise between street and track ability. I've already ordered a set of front OEMs. Brake dust is part of life for a high performance, heavy beast like this!

I looked around initially, but couldn't find anything definitive. Carbotech may be a good option depending on the compound.

Stock pads are a good quality compound, and seem to handle heat loading relatively well; at least no one has yet reported any real brake fade or glazing issues.

They are dirty though, and seem to wear like Hawk performance pads (i.e., quickly).

Yeah, I know the trade offs of performance vs vanity, but like I said I had good Hawk pads that were at least less dusty. I'll keep tabs on Carbotech. I was surprised how few options there seemed to even be out there yet for even the Mustang.
