Thanks for posting this up - was looking for this and had a hard time finding it.The correct cap is 1109. I have to hand it to Motive: they sent me out this new cap free of charge.

Can you post the part numbers of the Motive System you used along with the correct cap #? I think this would be very useful for a lot of us. ThanksI would also update that the pressure bleeding system works great. I actually used a MityVac pressure system while I was waiting on the replacement cap mentioned above, but the principle is the same. The vacuum system did not work; it just wasted $15-20 worth of fluid.
I have no idea after all this time. Sorry. I used the http://www.mityvac.com/pages/products_bcbe.aspMityvac MV6840 Pressure Bleed System. Can you post the part numbers of the Motive System you used along with the correct cap #? I think this would be very useful for a lot of us. Thanks
I just contacted the mechanics at Utah that maintain the GT 350's for the Track Attack program and they told me they use pressure bleeding system like a Motive. They have used it for 4 years on the Boss cars as well as the GT 350's without issue. :ford:I would also update that the pressure bleeding system works great.
