The BPV opening during cruise is annoying as balls.

Have you had any check engine lights with the Boomba BOV adapter? This thread just popped up and for the first time I noticed the car venting when I had the cruise set. I have the Boomba BOV adapter and had to quickly cut the music to make sure I wasn't going crazy- yup it was open with a steady throttle!

I've had one for ~2k miles and no CEL. There should be no reason for it to ever throw a CEL. It's a MAP car, air is not metered.Have you had any check engine lights with the Boomba BOV adapter?
No issues at all with the BOV adapter.Have you had any check engine lights with the Boomba BOV adapter?
My stock BOV is venting to atmosphere. Just remove the recirculating tube from the bov to the intake and seal off the valve on the intake and you're good to go. And it sounds awesome.Just curious if anyone has their BOV vented to atmosphere and how they did it with the stock valve. Thanks for the advice. DIB EB.
What did u use to seal the valve on the intake? My stock BOV is venting to atmosphere. Just remove the recirculating tube from the bov to the intake and seal off the valve on the intake and you're good to go. And it sounds awesome.
Can't see how it would be opening during cruise, the engine is operating under vacuum at that point. The BPV opening during cruise is annoying as balls.
I've got the Boomba adapter and yes it vents during cruise conditions. It is annoying but 90% of my driving is heavy traffic. So I don't deal with it much. Can't see how it would be opening during cruise, the engine is operating under vacuum at that point.
I used a combination of electrical tape and duct tape lol. Works perfectly. What did u use to seal the valve on the intake?
LOL works for meI used a combination of electrical tape and duct tape lol. Works perfectly.
I was trying to figure that out alsoSooo... What's the benefit of the boomba adapter? Why not just take the hose off and cap off the intake?
