Bought My First Electric!

Well... Car's been at the dealer for a few days waiting on parts so I decided to by my first electric mode of transportation. I don't work too far away from home so I plan to ride it back and forth everyday. The path I can take has cars only at intersections so I don't have to worry about getting ran over.... (hopefully).

Will post some updates when I get it. I've ridden a few different ones all over Seattle and they are a riot.. Hoping this model is reliable.

My therapist stopped seeing me immediately... But she did say something about putting some LED's on the bottom so I don't get ran over by a Mustang driver Oh, and make sure to wear a helmet.

Damn targeted ad's! Thanks for posting this though, mine is on there. It's the Seqway Ninebot Max. I would love to check out some of the models in the link you posted but they are pricey! I paid about a grand for this thing so I'm hoping to get good use out of it until the temps cool off and I can switch to my bicycle.

So... It was supposed to show up yesterday but didn't. I slept in until noon today and it was finally here. Seriously.. Yesterday the tracking info showed "5 stops away" and then went to "your screwed, maybe tomorrow"...

Anyway, after playing with it in Eco mode I cranked it up to sport and it hit about 18 to 19mph. I took it on a few errands and managed to rack up 5 miles on it. I'm hoping the rain here cools off tonight so I can take it to work tomorrow. Also hoping I get my car back in time to drive to Vegas this week.. :/

I have to admit. This thing is pretty badass so I hope it lasts awhile. Took me 20 minutes to get to work and 25 to get home. It's 4.5 miles one way without cars for about 70% of the time, so 9(ish) miles round trip. I averaged 18mph and came home with 66% battery.

I get just as many looks on this thing as I do in my Mustang Only these people are like "this guy is nuts.."

And still no Mustang for Vegas.. Roush sent the wrong parts... Oh well. I probably don't need it in Vegas anyway..

I've been thinking about getting one. I have an apartment in downtown Mobile I stay in during the week, so no driving from sunday night to thursday night for me. would be useful for groceries and stuff.

I have 80 miles on mine now. Got my car back Tuesday, drove it to bowling then home and parked it. Used the scooter the rest of the time. It is a lot of fun and very nice in the morning. It’s actually less stressful than driving.

I did take the mustang to strip tonight though so it didn’t feel neglected
