Yes meant 90. Lol damn auto correct50mm? Stock is 80mm, was that a typo?
Do you mean an 85 or 90mm TB? The stocker is 80mm. On the 11-14 coyotes with a Boss IM the 85 or 90mm TB helped quite a bit.Kris are you going to switch to a 50mm throttle body at some point?
Me too...let me know when you find one that's available!!Subbed. Ill be using the victor II later.
yes you can turn off the imrcMe too...let me know when you find one that's available!!
When changing intakes, what do you do with the IMRC connections? Are these or can these be programed out so no codes are thrown?
Tape up the connectors and zip tie them or let em hang. They will be turned off with the new tune.Me too...let me know when you find one that's available!!

Ive spoken with accufab. They have plans to make one for the s550s.I only saw one guy get a meaningful gain using the 85mm Accufab(DaSilva IIRC) and he got around 11rwhp all the way at the top of the powerband(. Most tests I've seen show pretty much nothing in terms of gains, similar to changing catbacks.
Unfortunately deleting them is a little more complicated than just deactivating them.yes you can turn off the imrc
That wasn't the question I answered.Unfortunately deleting them is a little more complicated than just deactivating them.
The stock tune at partial throttle is built around the IMRC's. When you remove them, you are essentially increasing the flow at low load and low rpm speeds. In doing so, intake valve opening and exhaust valve closing positions (VCT) needs to be adjusted to compensate to maintain a good efficiency so that the car does not break up/ buck and still has good low end power. At least this is what I am finding. Definitely time consuming, I will admit lol. Props to the tuners who have accomplished this and have the current cars running good at partial throttle. I haven't even begun WOT tuning as of yet.

That's very true. I just wanted to respond with a small update included lol. That wasn't the question I answered.![]()
