Corsa touring axle back?

A FRPP touring could just bolt on without any cutting.
True, but would have less effect on interior noise than he's looking for.

I started with the Borla touring catback. So I already have the Borla resonator, mid pipes, and S-type mufflers.

Would like to hear a sound clip when you get it completed. I am thinking of getting the Borla resonator and running it with my Extreme mufflers
Will do. It might be a couple weeks while I wait on Uncle Sam.

Oh ok, didn't know you had the whole catback installed.

I saw in another thread that you installed the Corsa Touring axel back with your Borla Touring resonator. How does it sound? Are the Corsa's louder or quieter cruising/full throttle? Any difficulties mating the Corsa's to the Borla pipes? Thanks.

That's still a work in progress. I'm just running the stock resonator right now as the bend in the Borla midpipes is a slighty different angle on the passenger side. I'm going to try to mate everything up this weekend or next.

That said, the Corsa touring is significantly quieter inside the cabin than the Borla axle back. Exterior volume is just a tad quieter with Corsa. The Borla is definitely deeper and has more gurgling on decel, which I miss, but the Corsa's silent cruise makes it a winner in my book for my long drives.

The interior volume doesn't get much worse with a resonator delete either. Some, sure, but the Touring AB + X-pipe will still be quieter inside than your Borla CB was (at low-moderate throttle) and retains the silent cruise.

Cool. I ordered the Corsa Sport CB and it'll be here today. I just wasn't sure if I was going to use the Borla resonator or the Corsa x-pipe. I want more volume at full throttle than the Borla Touring without an increase in cruise volume so looks like I'm not going to use the Borla resonator.

That should be the ticket. I'm going to give it one more go and if I still can't figure it out I might just order the double x.

I had the FRPP Touring Cat Back and liked the sound except the rasp (and received many compliments about the sound). I now have Corsa Touring (sport mufflers) Axle Backs with an H-pipe. It is quieter in the cabin, but with much acceleration, it's really raspy outside the car, in my opinion - much more so than the FRPP Touring Cat Back. Not sure yet, what my next exhaust will be...still looking and listening...

I've heard the Corsa Sport catback (so Touring AB + double X-pipe) and I heard virtually no rasp from inside the car. The 3" piping gives it a deeper note, and a cleaner sound than the H. I have not heard the Touring AB or Sport AB with an H-pipe in person, but I like the smoother sound of the X or Double X better from videos, myself.

Relevant comparison:

You could add some tiny bullet resonators behind your H to tame the rasp.
This would reduce rasp without reducing volume much at all, though would have to be adapted to 2.5" piping:

Corsa Sport catback is quiet in the car unless you are doing a spirited acceleration. If you are looking for a non-intrusive exhaust, get the Corsa and you will see what the Corsa hype is all about. All the sound is projected behind the car, and zero annoying presence inside the cabin under normal driving conditions.

Just a quick question for those that have either had or heard both systems in person. I'm currently running the Borla S-type axle backs and while they sound great, they are a little too intrusive in the cabin for me during longer trips on the interstate. While there is no drone, they are noticeable at anything above 1800 rpm. If they stayed quiet to about 2300 rpm everything would be golden.

I'm looking at replacing them with the Corsa touring axle back. Is the Corsa quieter than Borla during cruise? If so, by how much? Thanks in advance.
I would opt for the catback to be honest. I like the extremes but I've always been a fan of the sports, especially if you ever decide to run headers.
