Borla S-type + X pipe resonator delete = Atak?

I’m looking into the Borla line of exhausts and I noticed they sell a s type axle back, a s type catback, an atak catback, but do not sell an atak axle back. I can see the s type comes with a mid resonator while the atak catback comes with just an xpipe mid pipe. My car already has an x pipe resonator delete. If I purchase the s type axle back and pair it with the x pipe resonator delete, is that the same as the atak catback? Confusing I know…

No, if you pair the S-type axle back with your X pipe, you have the S-type catback essentially (I’ve not seen an S type catback with anything other than an X pipe). The ATAK muffler design is a little different than the S type and they have different tones and volume levels as a result. I personally like the S type sound better, a little deeper tone than the ATAK.

Also, the S-type has a small resonator before the muffler on the cat-back and the ATAK has a little tuned pipe thingy in the same place. The S-type axle-back assumes the factory resonator is there so there is no use for it.
