Having issues with my boot. I’ve tried to look for a manual release cord but can’t seem to locate One, camera is working and power seems to be going to the boot as my hazard lights flash when pressing the fob. Any ideas?

There should be a manual release cable with a little handle

Pull down the rear seats, shine light into trunk - the rip cord to open the trunk should be there as pictured in the above post.

Also as seen in the above pic, by doing so, you will let free the victim in trunk...

so UK Regulators don't care if you get trapped in your "boot"? 😆
That seems odd... maybe the plastic handle broke off, but the cable is still there somewhere. If the cable broke I think you've got a bigger problem.

For reference: here is the location of the release handle on my '16. It's on the passenger side. If that's broken off and the cable has pulled in behind the liner you should be able to pop the plastic clips out of the liner and bend it down to find the release cable.

I don't have any boots with lights, but once my nephew wanted a pair of sneakers with lights in them so I bought them for him.

Despite what we see on peaky blinders there isn't much organized crime in the UK, hence why the boot/trunk release isn't needed
