That’s v good. I have a 17 Gen5 S2 3.875” and on 93 (91+ enough race gas for 93) made 650rwhp (Dynojet, SAE smoothing 5) in 4th with 18*. Yes, dynos vary but still....
I was probably mixed closer to 97-98 octane so just the extra timing is probably the difference. But also Dyno jet sae smoothing 5

Just thought I'd share my Kenne Bell Engine Bay. Not many of those around on this forum.

It looks awesome and performs just as well. It does whine under load and could whine a hell of a lot more if I turned the boost up to 15psi on a 6rib belt. Unfortunately, im running the largest pulley at 10psi on 93 pump gas here in the UK, if only we had E85 at the pump.

Fantastic! i love that sound! You don't think you can get away with 15 psi on 93 octane?

No sir. Max, absolute max would be 11 psi and I'm just a bad batch of fuel away from engine knock and detonation.

93 just isn't enough octane to support that kind of boost level.

The rule of thumb is that for every psi I believe you need 1.5 more octane so would need 100 octane to run 15psi.

Could use octane boosters but it gets very expensive really quickly haha. Not to mention the car struggles to put this much power down as it is.

Mt next upgrade is likely to be the GT350R brake package upgrade after I install the propshaft and half shafts.

THANKS for the info. i am only looking for a fun street monster, so I would think 10 psi will give me everything i need, sound, speed and fun! I am hesitant to commit to E85 as I am not sure it is available in some rural areas. i will have to check....

Trust me, start with 10 psi. 600 plus wheels is PLENTY then you still have room to grow. 800 wheels is about what the stock coyotes can take on stock rods. Below that, OPGs and crank sprocket, prop and half shafts for extra security if running sticky tires. 10 psi, reliable good fun all day long.

Spark plug changes at around 10k miles and I change oil every 6000 because that's what I do a year in this.

Then if you want big boy power, kenne Bell have run it with 21psi on a coyote with auto trans and put down like 950 wheels with some Long tube headers and I think crank sprocket and opgs on an otherwise stock coyote. There is a video of it on YouTube
