This might be a stupid question, any reason this may effect warranty?
You mean making changes with forscan? Only if you have a electrical or computer issue that they can trace back to you making changes.

Hold up! How did you get that gauge to appear in your cluster? I thought that was only an eco-boost option or could be done with 2018+ with a digital cluster.
My 2015 gt came stock with those gauges

That's awesome man. Yours is definitely different as mine only moves in the highlighted portion under VAC, won't go into boost. Maybe something to do with the digital cluster. I'm not sure.

Are you sure you used the correct coding?

What lines in forscan need to be edited to turn this on?

I have this on my digital cluster. This Saturday I am going on a Dyno day. I am interested to see how it compares to the boost gauge on the dyno.

Forscan. There is a line of code you change to essentially enable the EcoBoost Vac/Boost gauge in the cluster.

shouldn't
Agreed.

Keep us updated!

My understanding is just as Jackson stated. Being as the MAP is inferred on these cars off of MAF, the accuracy of this feature is entirely dependent on how the tune is setup.

More accurate numbers would generally indicate more accurate air load to torque table settings.

Yes, being that this is calculated boost I think you are dead on.

wow, that's good to know. I researched it a few months ago and came up empty. Any chance you can point me in the right direction?

Sure thing.

This code change should work on 2015-2017 non GT350 clusters to enable the vac to vac/boost gauge:

Change whatever number is in the third place to 7?
I believe it's change the 3rd and 4th digits of the 1st set of numbers to "7F".

I need to read out my As-Built in the cluster to be sure....but just save your stock As-Built in case that's not correct and you can always revert back.
