Not noticed any movement - for peace of mind I'd get your dealer to check the catch is seated properly. Not heard of any issues either. Ford sell 10,000 or so a month in the US - we'd know if there was a problem........
Cheers, I appreciate some input from across the pond.

I do wonder if it's because of the pedestrian safety features we have here in the U.K. (Was going to say Europe but I voted out).

Our 'hoods' have what I assume are mechanical charges that raises the hood near the front windscreen. This is to allow it to flex and soften a head strike should an unspecting pedestrian find themselves on top of my car in an accident.

This is also the reason why we don't get hood scoops as god forbid they catch a finger or arm on their journey over the top of the car......

Brexit is the best decision we ever made, the sooner we take control of our laws the better.

I'll stick the go pro on tomorrow and try to get some video. Being grabber blue the contrast between tarmac and hood makes it very noticeable.

Tack.

I'm also in the UK. My point about volumes was that I don't think there's a problem. Ford recall fast on safety. Will be interested to see the grabber blue anyway.

I much prefer the bonnet scoops - also better for cold air intake options and look more aggressive. I would happily put a non-compliant bonnet on (and might later). You want to hear my exhaust... Fast 'n loud.

Re Brexit, I'm one of the 48%. I've got friends like you that are not. This is not a political forum. Probably best we keep it that way

It's an alignment issue.

Mine doesn't budge below 120mph.
Haven't tested it yet, but that's what I was thinking as well. My bonnet sits really deep in front from factory. Looks awful. But, can't say I've noticed any flutter.

Hi there

It is just part of Mustang ownership, my S197 did it, though that was quite scary, at 160mph things got interesting. :D

My S550 only has a slight wobble at 80mph, below and above this it is fine.

For those who have a lot of wobble just screw the rubber stops out 1-2 turns as it can help to reduce/eliminate it.

I've noticed a wee bit wobble but nothing I would consider too concerning.

Seen 150 but no discernable wobble.

Do what Gibbo said about adjusting the 2 rubber hood rests upwards (just turn them). Mine is MUCH better after doing that. You may notice you'll have to drop the hood from a bit higher to have it latch but it'll be nice and tight and won't flutter.

It doesn't seem right that it's lifting at those low speeds

Mine only did it above 120 to 130 mph ... I removed the front undertray from mine which solved the problem (less air pressure)

But 60+ mph is definitely not right

Mine flutters, a little, at like 80 under acceleration... I'll give this rubber stops tweak a go tomorrow as I've got about 10 hours alone with the car to do Calipers (well laquer them to lose the matte grey and turn it back to Gloss... stupid foliate) so will look at it then.... :headbang:

Ok, so a few blasts down unrestricted autobhan stretches, bit of bonnet 'flutter', trust me, you'd have to be doing twice the UK limit and more to be worried, that bonnet ain't going nowhere :)

Mine moves a little, but not as much as my wife's 2016 Explorer Sport which also has an aluminum hood.

Worse video ever but I was driving and my 'passenger' suffers from the shakes...

I can see it, hopefully you can!
