Cheers, I appreciate some input from across the pond.Not noticed any movement - for peace of mind I'd get your dealer to check the catch is seated properly. Not heard of any issues either. Ford sell 10,000 or so a month in the US - we'd know if there was a problem........
I do wonder if it's because of the pedestrian safety features we have here in the U.K. (Was going to say Europe but I voted out).
Our 'hoods' have what I assume are mechanical charges that raises the hood near the front windscreen. This is to allow it to flex and soften a head strike should an unspecting pedestrian find themselves on top of my car in an accident.
This is also the reason why we don't get hood scoops as god forbid they catch a finger or arm on their journey over the top of the car......
Brexit is the best decision we ever made, the sooner we take control of our laws the better.
I'll stick the go pro on tomorrow and try to get some video. Being grabber blue the contrast between tarmac and hood makes it very noticeable.
