Iām really not worried about the MOT test. Worst case Iāll pay Ā£85 for an MOT pass tune. But I reckon itāll pass. Mine will be MOTād in January
Thereās a long thread on it here, the net conclusion of which is ābuy the lockoutsā .. the pigtails option is much more hassle, more prone to error codes and doesnāt run as smoothly overall afterwards. This is why MMR canāt make the lockouts fast enough currently...
Enoch - Lund now strongly recommend locking out the IMRC. This is different to their original recommendation but is based on their customersā experiences and best results overall

I think youāre right that it was designed using the height of the stock seats. The bar sits at least 2ā too high
My shoulders are level roughly with the seat holes so it still rises at at 10 to 15 degree angle with me in the seat

Has anyone fitted this bar?
Iāve just put it in and found it sits 2ā to 3ā higher than the harness exit holes on the seat (I have the Corbeau RRB Seats) so the harnesses rise up as they go towards the bar.
Harnesses are supposed to be a max of 0 degrees (ie flat) so this doesnāt seem safe...
Pretty sure Modurstang was fitting MMR kits (which I enquired about but itās a very involved job). Havenāt heard of any issues with the Mishimoto kit
Yes I have the Mishimoto oil cooler together with JW Racingās adapter plate which allows it to be properly fitted to the RHD mustang. All works nicely.
