Have a link for the GT350 CAI?Poor build quality, looks very after market and the gains over the GT 350 CAI (with uprated filter) are probably so little its not worth worry over.
Also throttle, open CAI's have jumpy throttle, this can of course be rectified to a certain degree by new throttle mapping, but the GT 350 CAI should combine super sensitive throttle whilst also being smooth without the jumpyness.
Let see as I am super sensitive to such things, as I do a lot of circuit driving so being able to keep the car balanced on throttle is absolute critical to myself.
Also Ford spent god knows how much money on the R&D for GT 350 and to get all the parts working together in harmony, this level of R&D the CAI manufacturers simply do not have. The GT 350 CAI cost me $175 so its worth trying for me.
Do not get me wrong PMAS now with revised tune and throttle mapping drives great and with tune I have gained 50BHP / 50lb/ft over stock so awesome gains, those are flywheel figures by the way.![]()
