I figured I would share my recipe, since no other S550 IRS car (with production style IRS) has cut a 1.2 sixty foot time. And of course, waiting on another suspension company to do it would take forever.
BMR-SP086 Drag Springs (I NOW RUN SP089 FRONT and SP088 REAR SPRINGS - THIS IS WHAT I RECOMMEND FOR SC or TURBO APPS)
Stock Front Struts
Viking Crusader Rear Shocks
BMR-CB005 Cradle Lockout Kit (I NOW RUN BK048 INSTEAD OF CB005 - I RECOMMEND THIS FOR 850+RWHP and <1.39 sixty foot times)
BMR-BK050 Billet Diff Bushings
BMR-TR005 Toe Rods
BMR-TCA045 Vertical Links
BMR-BK055 Lower Control Arm Bearing
FRPP Toe Bearing
BMR-UTCAXXX Upper Camber Link Prototype
There ya have it. Easy Peasy!
Now, as of 11/05/2016 - we have a new KING on the S550 Block!
Mo Makki's JPC Built Turbo S550 went 1.27 this morning, and set the sixty foot AND fastest S550 Mustang / Fastest IRS Mustang world record!
Here is the lowdown on Mo's Suspension.
BMR-SP089 Front Springs
BMR-SP088 Rear Springs
Viking Crusader Rear Shocks
BMR-BK050 Diff Bushings
BMR-BK048 Delrin Cradle Bushings
BMR-TR005 Toe Rods with lockouts
BMR-TCA045 Vertical Links
BMR-BK055 LCA Bearings
BMR-UTCA064 Delrin/Bearing Camber Links
FRPP Toe Bearing
*BMR Specific Alignment Specs
As JPC Racing always says, "where dey at doe?"
My answer is simple. At the car show! ;)
11/05/2016: Annnnnddddd another one! Joe Holt's Palm Beach Dyno Tuned LPF TT car is now the second quickest sixty footing 6R80 S550, behind yours truly. But I suspect he will surpass me shortly!
UPDATE! Evolution Performance put together a solid performance today! (10/27/2017) - they took the title of the quickest 6R80 S550 Mustang! This combo relies on the full BMR Suspension System and Viking Dampers all around - with BMR handling the alignment and shock settings. Twin 64s, Lund Tuned, Car FLIES!
11/13/2017: The Shop CT putting in work! This car relies on Armageddon TT Kit, Palm Beach Dyno tuning and BMR Suspension to win races such as the 6R80 Shootout class at the Mod Nationals event over the weekend! This car went 1.29, 1.29, 1.28 and 1.25 -and never even thought about spinning!
