It might seem excessive, but it was cheaper to do that (including buying the hole saws etc) then getting BMR or Steeda at U.K. prices :like:

There's actually a little more going on with them than what the previous photos showed. I put plates underneath just to give a bit of an air gap between the frame (so it can breath in our damp UK climate) and to avoid the need to trim the sealer :

And I extended the front a little on the short rail to make them the same length :

The drain holes are positioned in the low side (the frame isn't level in the rail area).

They will work with the Steeda IRS braces - If I have done my calculations correctly I should have an 8mm gap :

And I wanted them slightly proud of the pinch welds :

This is a great addition to the car, a must have for me because I am changing wheels often....
