Probably, they're free to rent from any auto store. What tool did you use to compress the springs to install them on the struts? Did you rent a spring compressor?
I am a mechanic for a living so I have a wall mounted spring compressor. You only need it to remove the original spring,.... You can install the bmr spring without one.I will be doing this install soon and want ot make sure I get the right tool. sometimes they have multiple types of the tool for different applications. Was hoping he had a number of the tool he used.
I will measure it today.I think the stance shown on your pics done immediately after install look great - not too 'gangster' low.
Has it changed at all over the last week? I'm thinking BMR's springs won't sag over time but does that also mean they don't settle?
Would you be so kind as to measure clearance now under the front lip, (mm if you can)?
Thanks.
Really? Very interesting. You can compress it enough by hand to get the top mount on and line up the strut bolts?I am a mechanic for a living so I have a wall mounted spring compressor. You only need it to remove the original spring,.... You can install the bmr spring without one.
The ride is great for daily driving.

Because the spring is shorter,...you can put it on without the spring compressorReally? Very interesting. You can compress it enough by hand to get the top mount on and line up the strut bolts?
Yeah I just didn't think it was that much shorter. Nice.Because the spring is shorter,...you can put it on without the spring compressor
I think the PP splitter is lower?I just measured my non-pp car at the splitter and got ~9". Seems like more than the 1.25" inches of drop they state even with the slightly different splitter.
