My wife drives my car sometimes, and I think it would be a good tool. Is it possible to retrofit my car with BLIS?

You got blind spot mirrors, right? They do the same thing with a lot less complexity.

I agree they blind-spot mirrors are awesome and more cost-efficient.

the curved mirror on the side mirrors are more effective than I thought they would be. I dont miss the blind spot warning system in the 2014 IS I had

I specifically skipped out on the HD radio package that I really wanted because it came with blis. Give me the concave mirrors over electronics any day.

A lot of hate for the BLIS system, I see..

I know it makes it less of a "driver's car" but I actually really like it, and am glad it was one option I did not skip out on! The upgraded radio is "meh" at best, and I don't think i'll ever use the CD player, but the cross-traffic alert and the blind spot light are worth every dollar for me!

The memory seats are nice too.

Another vote for the mirror! Hate the BLIS, the convex mirrors actually show you what is there, the tiny light is garbage. Loved my '12s mirrors.

I don't "hate" the BLIS, I'm just trying to understand what purpose it serves. When you have mirrors with the convex blind spot mirrors, you can actually see what's in your blind spot.

Perhaps if you came from a car that had no blind spot mirrors at all, I'm sure the BLIS is fine, but I'm glad I opted out of 401a for it.

The convex mirrors are ugly IMO. Reminds me of my work van. Blis works great and no ugly double mirror.
