BLIS Improvement

I truly like and use the BLIS, but how could Ford leave off such a simple piece that nearly every other vehicle with blind spot warning has... And that missing piece is an audible alert! For those of us with cross traffic alert, that system chimes and displays a warning in the info center. But BLIS is relegated to a yellow dot in the side mirrors! With bright sun in the mirror during the day or another vehicle with bright headlights shining into the mirror, the little yellow dot is useless. Why couldn't Ford have used the warning chime??? Even my sisters compact car chimes with a vehicle in the blind spot. If Ford thought the chime would be an annoyance, then they
could have made it something we could disable...

You know buddy ... there are people who hate the chimes... and there was whole huge thread on it..

Forget everything.. people have criticized for having door open chime.

" WHY DOES CAR CHIME WHEN I OPEN MY DOOR WHEN MY CAR IS ON".

"WHY DOES CAR CHIME WHEN I DONT PUT MY SEAT BELT".

" WHY DOES CAR CHIME for this for that"

Buddy people will never be happy and ford cannot make everyone happy. YOur suggestion is awesome. BUt again you will see huge pile of people hating chime

I know, that's why I said that Ford could add the option of disabling the BLIS chime.

yeaa.. like they did for disabling seat belt chime... they could .. probably in next software update

Its not legit, its to let you know , you left you car and walked of and you need to lock you car.

What if you forget and car is on, and is not locked, someone comes and takes it off, Then people would say , WHY FORD DID NOT PUT ANY WAY TO TELL THAT I WALKED OF WITH KEY
