Curious what year and trim level you have.
I honestly thought all of them came with built-in blind spot mirrors. And the backup camera on my '18 (8" screen) has several sets of lines that move with the steering wheel to show exactly where you are going and even a center line. I thought the smaller screen showed the same things?
I do like how Ford does the factory insets.
22 GT with 401A. Yes, the lines help. I'm just old-school and still defer to my mirrors first to get lined up in a spot.

Just got to my car. True

This is exactly what mine has. I'm thinking about just putting a set of el cheapos from Amazon on there, some that fit in the outboard lower corner.

It took me a bit to trust the lines in the back-up camera too. The thing is I had spent the last 10 years backing into parking garage slots at work so that helped. I still double check with my mirrors, you'd be stupid not to, but it's usually just a quick look.
I'm not a huge fan of blind spot warning systems but if I had one I'd want the blind spot mirrors too.
I haven't looked on Amazon but those cheap stick on ones are at any auto parts store, Walmart, etc in several sizes and shapes. That way you could get a good idea of what might fit best.

I just upgraded my base mirror's (power only w/spotter mirror) to Premium mirrors with power, turn signal, heated and puddle lamps. I could have gone full swing up to Bliss but I too wanted to keep that little spotter mirror.

What’s neat is no matter what warning system or helper mirror is on the car, I continue to to a quick “head check” no matter what.

Same here. But for that fraction of a second when I’m not looking I’m grateful for Bliss.

Yeah. The more I notice mine pop on, it definitely provides peripheral awareness.

the main reason I ask is for backing into parking spots. Yes the backup camera helps too but mainly for distance to a curb, car, line at the back of the spot. I don't know why I can't get used to judging my position left-to-right in a spot with the camera, and the side mirrors are very little help without looking like I'm craning my neck to see the ground through them.
Exactly why I put them on too on every car I get. I've got the 2" diameter ones from the local auto part place up here.

No doubt man. I drive with my head on a swivel. As a motorcycle rider I'm always on the lookout for other vehicles.

I should have said that I wanted them more for backing into parking spots. These Mustangs are set up such that I can't see the stripes on the ground in a parking lot unless I'm looking at them through a mirror or the backup camera.

I've admittedly gone soft with my wife's Highlander that angles the side mirrors down so you can see the ground beside and behind the car. My truck doesn't do this, but the side mirrors are lower in my field of vision and overall visibility of surroundings is better in it. Still, it needed "blind spot" mirrors that I basically use for lining the truck up in a parking spot.

The Mustang needs the same thing, and that's really what I was asking for. I guess "blind spot" isn't a good term for how I use of the little mirrors, but they certainly pull double duty as "parking assist mirrors."

You don't need them if you learn how to set your mirrors correctly from the start.
This.

If your mirrors don't show you your blind-spot, you don't have them adjusted properly. Mirrors are supposed to show you your blind-spot, not down the side of your car.
