Any special tips for bleeding the coolant after opg install.

Obviously lots of coolant drained/lost in the process

Got some new orange coolant from ford and refilled my Paxton reservoir (what a pain, could have put a sight glass in)

Anyway any special tips to make sure there's not air in the system.

I have the heat on full blast and cap off to try to get most of the air out but I didn't notice any specific bleeder screws like on my past mustangs.

And I did search didn't see any bleeding threads. Unless it's so simple everyone else didn't need to ask :headbonk:

I thought I was going to have to bleed my system as well since I replaced my radiator at the time of my sc install but everything has been good. On the first start up I just left the car on with the cap off for about 30 mins and haven't seen over 198.

The engine and expansion tank design self bleed. As long as the hose to the top of the tank is a constant stream while the engine is running you're good

I'd love a o see a video of the car runnnimg for 30 minutes with the radiator cap off. I had my cap off from a cold start and if I remember right it wanted to bubble over the top after about 10 minutes.

Well that's weird but mine never did that and I know my car was on for more then 10 mins and so was the car that I helped install another sc on.

Hmmm, maybe I'll have a o try it again. I put 600 miles on it since the supercharger install, but my head temps get up above 200 easy. I've read that it's self burping, and know it's topped off with antifreeze. Maybe I'll try running it without you he cap again to see what happens.

My old car would go above 200 with the stock t stat as well. This time I went with the reische t stat and I have not seen it go higher then 198. It stays between 185-195 usually.

Yeah, but would it go above 220 like mine with the OEM stat? I want to add a "lol" on that, but it isn't really funny.

I left my cap off until the fan kicked on. That's all you need to do. As said above, as long as the return stream is constant you're good to go.

Before I had the 170 tstat I would regularly see CHT of 208-210. If it was hot and I was in traffic, it'd go higher.
