I have the Steeda pro-action adjustables and like them just fine for my performance package car. I can't say what the best on the market are because I never tried any of the other brands. But hey, so far I'm more than happy with the Steeda's.

Track pack says road course but track pass says drag strip. Not sure what you're after, but either way I suspect that at 58k the struts aren't in much better condition. So you might want to be choosing rear shocks with an eye toward comparable struts from the same mfr.

Start out full soft to 1/4 turn off soft front and rear. Remember ,full soft is clockwise until it stops than counterclockwise 1/4 turn

Ugh . . . might as well bag it and join the hard-parking crowd. It'll drive best as a static display.

Stock or near stock springs = Bilstein B6 front or rear. You can't go wrong.
IHi , I am entertaining the idea if some Bilstein B6 shocks on my GT as I have had them on my Falcons over many years. Can anyone here shed any light on their experiences in S550 mustangs as I would very much like the advice. Not sure whether to just use stock springs or lower it the 20-25mm some suggest let me know your thoughts.

I've used both the Koni yellows and the Ford Performance track shocks. Though the Koni's were adjustable, I much preferred the ride from FP track shocks. I also just so happen to have a set for sale.

Bilsteins are the real deal for the S550 as well. The handling benefits I doubt can be matched in this price range, and the ride is refined. Seriously, the performance GREATLY improved.

The Bilsteins were designed from OEM spring rates and height, but work perfectly on my 0.5” lowered rear with stout 880lb/in springs. I’m sure they’ll work great on an 1” drop too, though I wouldn’t go any lower than that.

I'm seriously doubting my choice of the FP track struts/shocks with my GT350R springs. I've run Bilsteins on many of my previous rides (two BMW 2002s, an Audi A4, two F250s), always with excellent results. Since I'm hardly lowered at all, I think the B6 Bilsteins might be in my future on the Ecoboost.

Thanks Roadway5.0, i appreciate your prompt reply. I think you have confirmed what i already knew but i wasn't sure about the effect in an S550. I will discuss with the fitter what springs are available ( he seems to think Kings , a local manufacturer and a 1" drop would be ideal) but i am thinking just leave the stock ones in it and enjoy the Bilstein comfort and control.
