Are the Viking rear shocks any good? What other options would work with BMR SP080 springs?

I am putting viking crusader's (b358am) on today to go with my bmr SP088 rear springs. Will report back later today after installing them. 700+ hp, hoping the bmr and viking combo is the right setup for me. Both Beefcake and BMR gave high praise for this combo...

I am running Viking Crusaders on my MT82 car and the adjusability makes a world of difference on the track.

Did they make changes to the shocks or the way they mount to fix the noise issue? I thought they were revised at some point. It seems most of the fastest cars at the strip use them.

I've heard you can swap to a softer bushing in the bottom mount, but Viking doesn't recommend it because it decreases the performance. They also make a shock with an integral upper mount.
