He asked for the best high flow cats. They will reduce smell and his dealer will still work on the car.

I think the magnaflow 100 cell cats flow north of 500 CFM.

I just listed magnaflow because everyone knows that name.

Several other options are out there.

I would go with 50 cell but I don't want to pay shipping from AUS.

No smog tests here but I don't want to stink up the roads.

Not really sure how worth all the expense and trouble would be for a handful of horsepower.

Going catless gains you like 10-15hp, so halve that for high flow cats. Is it really worth it to spend $800+install for 5-7hp?

Now if you were highly modified, that number would probably be alot higher. But for a stock car, the cats aren't that restrictive.

Where are you coming up with 800 bucks?

100 cell 3 inch cats are about 125 each. maybe add another 100 for install if you don't have a welder.

I see people all the time spending that amount on a supposed CAI that really gains nothing.

The Performance Ind. High Flows are very affordable and built to last (furnace brazed metal substrate much like HJS). The H.P. to dollar value ratio is worth it, plus the air isn't being poisoned.

I've read that the stock exhaust flow pretty well. Instead of the pain and cost of installing headers, is there a good choice of replacement CATS that would flow well and give more power and torque over just my stock exhaust?

Also, my local Ford dealer has told me that he doesn't mind warranty work on a car with a tune or gears. I have both. He did say he would not work on it if the CATS were missing.

The best are the HJS cats, but they are uber expensive. They run about $700 each.

Pricing depends on designed EURO emission standard of the catalytic.
A Ferrari 812 superfast catalytic converter is $6,623.90 USD.

The OP is in Georgia, why all the links to Euro-spec cats?
