TR3160...only the newest version on the Mach1 has rev-matching. So it's either that, or the beefed-up Calimer, if you want to retain that feature.

If you're suggesting he get a Calimer reworked MT82D4, I don't think that is an option because Calimer doesn't upgrade the MT82D4, only the MT82.

Oh; good to know. Thanks. But why not? It still needs improvements, like replacing all plastic parts, and fully welding the shift forks, no?
