How do you know how tight you have to adjust the belt on a pc ho kit? I keep trying to figure out why I don't build all of the boost. How off is the stock boost gauge on the car?

Use chalk to draw a line across the pulley and the belt right where they meet, then take it for a spin, afterwards pop the hood and inspect the area you marked with the engine running. If the 2 marks don't meet you have slippage. I wouldn't trust the stock gauge as the tach is off by 300 rpm on my car.

Stock dash gage is about 3 to 4 psi high. At least that is about what mine looked like to be.

The stock gauge is not accurate. Mine reads 6-7 psi high.

Oh shit then I really need to install a boost gauge.
Also my head unit is leaking oil from the top where you fill it up. Anyone have an idea how to fix that?

Check the box your extra blower oil comes in , there should be a little package with an extra washer ( gasket ) for the dip stick fill hole ..

What size pulley are you running? P1 or d1? whats your elevation and do you hsve any other mods? Yes remove the old washer if you are replacing with a new one. If you are getting belt slip you should see dust from the belt.

I have the P1 unit with whatever pulley it comes with. Only other mods is longtubes headers off-road x pipe and some pypes m80s.
As far as elevation I'm not too sure but I live in Edinburg TX and travel thru Houston towards Baton Rouge for work.
I believe I'm at 95ft above sea level.

My P1 came with a 3.70 pulley and that should be about 8 to 9 PSI close to sea level.. That boost level also depends on how high you twist the motor ..With a good flowing exhaust you may see less that 8 to 9 PSI ..

Thanks for the info. My car felt in the upper rpms, 4500-6500, like it was chugging along. So I figured it was belt slip. I tightened all the connections again and I have ngk 1 step colder spark plugs also, gapped at .32.
