How can you test belt slip?

Just wondering if theres a way to find out if your belt is slipping?

Check for black dust around the pulley or through a boost gauge if the boost stop building up when it should at high rpm that's when you got slippage I think.

^+1. Black dust buildup around the blower pulley area would be an indication of slip.
