Beep when locking?

When I put my thumb on the door handle to lock the car, I wish it would beep so I know I actually did it. A lot of times I walk away not knowing, and have to pull out my remote to ensure it is. Is there a way to make it beep when I use the handle to lock it?

You can hear the lock actuate, I can feel it click through the door as well.

No not always. Its really loud where I park (diesel generators, equipment etc)

Try clicking it twice, maybe? Unsure .

Use your fob and hit it twice, it will beep.
You cannot make it beep front the handle sensor.

The yellow mirror light flashes once when you lock it by the door handle.

So does the blinker in the hood (if you have a '16 GT).

That's what I always look at.

I've noticed interior lights dim right away after it locks. If I unsure I'll either unlock and do it again or fish fob out and double tap it

Yeah if it wasn't for the lights in my hood I wouldn't know for sure that my doors were locked.

As I say, its REALLY loud where I am sometimes, so no, I don't always hear it (sometimes I do). The hood and mirror lights are awesome tips though... hadn't thought of that

are we talking about an electronic beep? or sounding the horn? touching the door handle dosen't give me a secure feeling. i feel the need to have the key fob in hand so that i know i actually have it on me and didn't leave it in the car or somewhere else. i do a double tap of the lock button and the horn sounds once, and it's quite loud to me? but then again i'm not parked next to heavy machinery...

X2 I just don't trust the touch door handle and locks even though it does. Just not trust worthy and the stereo system in the car
