Yep, deleting the A/C compressor, condenser and plumbing, vacuum pots for the IMRC, and the active shutter box opened up a lot of room. I like the Fuidampr because it doesn’t have to be rebuilt. I’ll be putting one on mine. I couldn’t imagine having to rebuild the harmonic balancer every race season like some brands call for. I like the idea of one and done much better.

The video doesn't do the first fire up justice. The bark literally shook the back wall.
After leak check and rolling around underneath on the creeper, all was good. The front end went back on, front tires installed and torqued, fired it back up to idle and come up to temp. Then, it was road test time.

I don't know how each individual heat management item contributed, but all-in-all, I'm highly pleased with the results. With a CHT of 183*, ambient at 60*, the IAT toggled back and forth between two and three degrees above ambient. I'll also add that, my belief that the coolant pump is undersized for this engine has been validated by what I'm seeing. Even with the 170* thermostat and stock coolant pump, I wasn't seeing CHTs this low. Also, evacuating heat and making the baffling that isolates intake air from engine bay heat seemed to do the trick.
After five or so miles of shakedown, punching it is quite different than a month ago. It breaks loose at 50 mph, front end jumps, an he gawn....

A little bit left to tidy up on the baffling, tighten up one wiring harness and run about a 1/4 tank of 93 out, then it's fill up with E85 and squirt the tune in.

My next steps are to prep the fuel system. I'm highly intrigued with what you've been doing and have been studying what @engineermike has shared. I'll have a full tank of E85 by Saturday and will datalog after a few miles on E85.

Also, I forgot to mention above, the spherical bearings in the tension links really enhanced the preciseness of the steering, but I'm sure the K-Member is likely contributing to that feel as well.Right on! Not yet. I'll be tackling brakes (GT350R Kit), wheels and tires next, and owing to the policy we share, the new knuckles in the rear will get sphericals pressed in. It is said though, that sphericals are better for drag applications and not road course, so I'm looking into the validity of that. Maybe @K4fxd can weigh in on this....Did you install the spherical bearings in the rear too? Great mod btw.
