BBK throttle body installed

Okay guys so I installed the bbk 73mm throttle body today. Install was fairly easy.

-Low to mid range power has improved
-Engine is very loud when flooring it from all the air coming in
-mpg did not change at all as of yet, not looking to gain any anyway

So my only problem I'm having now is debating on whether or not to take off the throttle body spacer. The opening of the spacer is smaller then the opening of the throttle body so I'm not sure if this is hurting performance. I will take it off over the weekend to verify this. Stay tuned!

Take off that spacer and forget about it! It's definitively reducing airflow since it's a smaller diameter than your TB.

I was thinking the same. I will remove it today if weather permits and post my results.

I have had the BBK 73mm tb spacer installed on my car for about 2 months now and before i put it my best 0-60 was 5.8s, now the best i can do is 6.3. Low end power and torque is definately increased and i can feel a difference while driving. I dont know what else is going on to make my times slower.
