Yes, I know that problem. Only so much room in the stable. He has a 2020 Heritage Edition R on order. Guess he has to make room in the garage.

is more to this story.

Yes, unfortunately as we all get to a certain point in our lives some tough and difficult decisions have to be made and this is one of those times.Yes, I know that problem. Only so much room in the stable.
Rex, really hard to tell how many PP cars that Ford has or will retain for all of the GT350/R cars but based on history they seem to keep a number of them and also sell a number of them and of course what happens from one model year to the next seems to never be the same.Hey Harry, Wondering about the comment you made about Ford retaining some of these Base R cars & attrition of them. If Ford is sitting on these are they "PP" cars? Will they ever be available for the consumer market? Would they all be the same model year?
If memory is correct,I believe that Tomster mentioned a year or so ago that he knew of one that may have met it's end. Would also imagine that attrition would be a very low percentage of the Base's.
Thanks for your thoughts!
Yup, looks like it to me.Isnt that @PP0001 s car?
Hi HarryYes, unfortunately as we all get to a certain point in our lives some tough and difficult decisions have to be made and this is one of those times.
Getting closer to retirement and being almost 70 years old are certainly a couple of the factors along with what not having enough room in the stable as you well know also plays into this scenario.
I consider myself very fortunate to have some terrific friends and car buddies who have provided me with storage for some of my cars in recent months and is still the case with "F0077" but at some point I have to get that car back home as I do not want over do my welcome with a great friend in Pennsylvania.
My goal is to get down to 2 cars which I feel is reasonable and right now I still have 4 in the stable including my wife's 2003 M-B SL 500 and the 2020 GT350 R that is coming.
We love the SL 500 and also have it consigned with Mecum in Glendale and is Lot "T44" and is an outstanding vehicle with just ~26,900 miles on it and even has a 302 C.I. engine with 302 HP.
Having said all that this is not a fire sale for either car and will see where this all goes later next week.
