I am new here. I purchased GR018 from a Ford Factory auction. I am the first owner besides someone at Ford owning it. I would some more info on this car, if anyone knows how to obtain it. There are no service records anywhere on this car. I am doing a serious paint correction now and that’s why there is tape all over it. Paint was in poor shape. This car is definitely used as there are a lot of chips. Car has 25k on it now. I am looking forward to driving it as it’s been sitting since I got it in September![]()

I think a bunch of early cars went in-house to executives/employees. Mine was purchased under similar circumstances with 9,975 miles on it from its use under Ford ownership. I imagine they were tracked extensively. Good news is, as a result, they're likely sorted out.

Not sure about the exact weight difference between a Base R and an Electronics Package car but did weigh my Base R at a CAT (Certified Automated Truck) scale and it came in at 3620# with a half tank of fuel.Great how much of a weight difference is the car without the AC?. I am in Virginia.
Great picture and I really smile when I see another R model without having the GPS/navigation antenna located on the back of the roof as these Base R's are very rare to see out in the wild.I am new here. I have contacted my local dealer and the Oasis report shows nothing. He did say power train expires in October. I looked under my drivers coil cover for engine sticker and there is nothing there. I did find the Launch Engineers name that was tagged to my car and I have tried reaching him via FB messenger, but no response. I have called Ford Performance and state they cannot see any info on my car. I didn’t know about the certificate or window sticker... Thank you for the infoGreat picture and I really smile when I see another R model without having the GPS/navigation antenna located on the back of the roof as these Base R's are very rare to see out in the wild.
Since your car was assembled just 3 cars after GR015 which was listed at the beginning of this thread I will suggest that your car may also have been assembled on that same day namely Monday, August 3rd, 2015 and if not it will have probably been the next day but with both of these cars being Shadow Black I think that they may have come out of the paint booth both the same day.
If that is the case your car will have been assembled approximately 1 week right after the final 2015 cars were completed.
As far as service records for your car I would get an Oasis Report from your local Ford dealership for your car which will indicate any warranty work that may or may not have been done on your car.
That same report will also confirm your exact build date along with providing you with any outstanding field service actions such as airbag recalls etc. and will also confirm when your 5 year powertrain warranty started and when it expires.
I will suggest that you may still have another ~6 months of powertrain warranty left on your vehicle.
Lastly, call FP at 1-800-367-3788 option 1 as they should be able to provide you with some help with respect to obtaining a Window Sticker for your car along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
First of all welcome to our unofficial Base R owners club as there are not many of us out there with possible only ~125 left of the original 135 cars built prior to Ford discontinuing production of these cars with that number based on attrition and Ford still retaining some of these Base R's.I have contacted my local dealer and the Oasis report shows nothing. I had a friend pull the Oasis report and it shows nothing. No recalls nothing. I don’t physically have that report, I can have him check the production date tomorrowFirst of all welcome to our unofficial Base R owners club as there are not many of us out there with possible only ~125 left of the original 135 cars built prior to Ford discontinuing production of these cars with that number based on attrition and Ford still retaining some of these Base R's.
With the FRAP having produced 3000+ R's over the last 6 MY's it is a rare sight to come across a Base R on the street or track for that matter.
If you have an Oasis Report what official date does it show for your car being assembled?
Also does it not show any recalls such as air bags for your car?
