there will be unsold 2016's on dealer lots by the time 2017 goes live which I was told January 2016 by my dealer.
That sounds insanely ambitious. Some of us won't even be getting our 2016 s until spring 2016.

I checked two local dealers in Metaire and Kenner Louisiana and they said they cannot order the GT350. One stated that they are accepting "bids" and that they have two bids in the $80k range. I'm not sure what the bids are for but I'm really disgusted that we cannot even place an order.

My guess is that they didn't get an allocation for 16 but are banking on getting one for MY17 so they are having basically a silent auction for something that doesn't even exist. Or they got one from another dealership. Sounds sketch and a half to me.

If we are missing 2015 and 2016 model years due to limited production, I am not going to stick with Ford, I love my GT, but there are plenty of other cars that are in that price range (and much less with no ADM) that are worth buying.

Cars will be sitting on dealer lots because the dealers will be trying to milk the most money they can out of them. After sitting on lots for a while they will either sell to someone that doesn't mind paying the extra money, or the dealers will start to come down a little on price. I'm sure both scenarios will occur.

Really what they are saying is they could order it, but they are choosing not to. Instead they are ordering the GT350 themselves and then taking bids. This is essentially the same thing that my local dealership is doing.

We aren't missing them, but we will not be seeing very many at MSRP. It has soured me a lot on this process. I'm not sure if I will go through this again. The Voodoo sounds like an incredible engine, but I understand how things typically work. Patience and waiting a few years = saving thousands and thousands of $$. I will probably do that in the future rather than going down the path I have this time. :frusty:

Ah you mean like pre configured cars from that specific dealer, whoever it may be?

The base model may actually be the second lightest model after the base gt350r since it wouldn't come with all the added features

Also I saw in a few vids that the base gt350r did not have center gauges. This may be possibility for the base gt350 also [emoji24]

No one has confirmed yet correct?

FWIW, the configurator shows this as well. You need one of the options packages for the center gauges to appear. (R or not)

Yes gauges don't come in base model or R w no electronics. This is due to true racers will likely use an aim dash unit and not need those
