base model 2018 gt NLS

So I’m hoping you all can help me I know the 2018 Mustangs were supposed to be the first year where no lift shift was on all model standard. Do you need to have the sync 3 upgrade in order to use no lift shift. I cannot seem to get it to shift without lifting. If I’m in third, flooring it till I reach about 5000+ RPM pushing the clutch fully try to shift it to fourth it locks me out and just keeps me neutral. any help will be appreciated

I'm 99.9% sure that feature was only in the 19+ .

I had to add a WOT Box to my 2019 Bullitt, in order to have NLS although I do recall reading somewhere that it was available on the 2019 cars.
