Barton Shifter 2nd Gear Downshift Issues

Installed a Barton Hybrid 3 and love the shifter. I notice that the vehicle will not take a 3rd to 2nd Downshift every once and a while. I'm not at high RPM's when it happens and if I really give it hell, it will eventually drop into gear (2nd). Any ideas?

Ideas? Yes.

Do NOT "give it hell" if it won't go into gear. You'll just wreck your trans that way.

Fixed mine using the left to right adjustment on the shifter top hat.

I have a Barton as well. It’s performed nicely for me. However not all results are consistent.

OP, how did you mount? Any other mods trans wise? What fluid do you run?
I’ve found that a LOT of MT-82 issues were resolved with high quality fluid.
