Yes I managed to get it fixed! Payed $10 for a new flex pipe and welded it in. Sound is gone! The flex pipe looked okay from the outside but the inside had loose bits.

I plasti dipped mine with the glossifier and it looks pretty good for $10

My exhaust makes loud rattling vibrations at around 2k RPM and sometimes at idle. I have narrowed it down to the flex pipe and have been able to quiet it down by strapping it with some hose clamps. Anyone else experience this? Not sure if I just need to get a new flex pipe welded in. FYI this...

I have the roush and h pipe and it is super loud and the sound is great. Low and rumbly but tears at high rpms. The x pipe will be a little more tingy and raspy at the high rpms. Check my video out! Also no drone at all. I heard the mbrp is good too but can drone.

Yeah it'd definitely not as raspy. I have thought about trying to find an X-pipe on sale and then just switch it out when i feel like I wanna get raspy :D

I got the raceseng slammer smoke translucent color. It is amazing! Much more classy than the clown nose red or blue in my opinion. I would say the shift knob definitely helped the notchiness of the mt82 but not cured it. Next mod will be the Barton 3.

I just installed a Raceseng shift knob. Very nice build quality but quite expensive but I like it a lot. I don't have the MGW stick but I know they also sell thread adapters as well as standard shift knobs without the bored out bottom.

The roush ab is probably as loud as axle backs get. I used to have it. I wanted it louder so I got an h pipe which sounds amazing. Except the cold starts are quite obnoxious. Luckily I am in an underground parking without people around so I just close the door.

I hate seeing those finger prints on the decklid. I've learned to just close it by touching the GT badge. Trickier but it doesn't show anything.

There's an adjustment screw for this in the shifter.

This thread is old but just happened to my car after installing mid pipe. Is the pipe 2.25 or 2.5? Will probably be welding a new one in... Funny thing is that it looks totally fine but rattles a lot when I bang on it.

Hey I am in the same boat as you. I want it to sound somewhere between roush ab and h pipe resonator delete. How is the 12" vibrants? Do you think the volume is good?

Not entirely sure but it looks almost like a 3" x pipe system. Must be loud...
