Hello all, hoping to get some guidance. My 19 gt has a Barton short throw installed (not sure if it’s trans mounted or not). I’ve put maybe 1,500 miles on it since owning it, and lately I’ve been hearing some rattling from the shifter, when I’m higher in the rpms. Has anyone experience this, where do I start trying to figure out what it could be? Video below.

The first thing I would do is determine if it is, in fact, trans mounted or not. If it recently started doing it and wasn't before, I would think that something has become loose. There are bushing to reduce NVH, and if it is relatively new, I wouldn't think that they have begun to wear out, but a mounting bolt could have backed off a bit, allowing it to vibrate. Easiest way to see how it is mounted is to get it on a lift. I would first watch the installation video to familiarize yourself with what to be looking for.

Just watched this video last night lol, made me glad it came already installed on the car. I have to buy a jack, probably build some cribbings to support the car, then I’ll get under it.
