A guy I knew very informally in California had a replica of this car made. It was quite cool. It was probably the loudest Mustang I’ve ever heard. Deafening.

Is it street legal with the 'POLICE' lettering?

Good question, no idea. I would also assume whoever buys it can’t run the light bar on the street either

The replica I am talking about had "police" on it and he drove it all the time. I couldn't tell you if his lights worked or not. I would think not.

I’m a huge transformers G1 fan. The original movie and all that stuff. I have a bunch of old G1 & G2 figures.

Same here, although I don’t have my old action figures anymore. If you’re one that celebrates Christmas, Hallmark has several Transformers ornaments. I have Optimus and Grimlock and will probably add a few more depending on what’s available this year

Oh man, I’ll definitely have to look for those. My most recent purchase was the grimlock 86 movie figure. Came with a miniature Wheelie figure.

Transformers can't pass emissions in Virginia so I'm out.

Scrolling through the pics it appears to have a CEL. I wonder what's up with it?

Texas can have light bars. As to the police, I'd drive it to car shows until I got yelled at. Then probably keep driving it lol
Just threaten them with Megatron ... :giggle:

Joking aside, I guess there would be a certain amount of leniency with a vehicle like that, especially if you kept some history or magazine article with with the car to back up the story (unless you were being a dick, or had purposely antagonised the LEO) ?

I know there are a few American emergency vehicles over here - complete with lights and sirens etc. They get away with it, but they wouldnt if it looked like a UK emergency vehicle.

WD :like:
