I have seen a huge variety of numbers on YouTube and this forum for the axle nut sizes.

For rear I have seen 32mm (a couple DIYers), 36mm (CJ Pony Parts) and 1.25" (LMR).

Can someone who has taken their rear hub off please confirm the size? Same for the front?

I'm also assuming I should have deep sockets for both.

Thanks

Most people use 32mm for the rear. It works but an 1-1/4 is a much better fit.
Most people use 36mm for the front. It works but a 35mm is a much better fit.
A deep socket is your best bet. Some shallow will work but it depends on the brand.
