Ecoboost axle nut thread size. Need help!

So how many damaged/ground-off threads are "inside " the nut?

None at all, it was only the first 3 or so rows of thread that were damaged on the axle, there's plenty of rows sticking out past the end of the nut in the fully torqued position.
