I haven't found one, but was curious if anyone has sourced a spot for AG powder coating.
Good question TORQUEJUNKYMight be best to go to a powder coating shop and see if they can do a custom mix and make AG for you. What were you interested in having done, wheels or calipers?
Have you been able to source the caliper piston seals? Powder coating will require you to completely disassemble the caliper since the seals won't hold up to the heat required in the process. You could try using the old seals but that leaves a high risk of seal damage or failure IMO.Busted.....I am thinking about the calipers. G2 makes the epoxy, I'm just not sure how that stuff turns out. I've read a lot of reviews and it's seems about 50/50 to me. I'm picky as hell (it's a curse) so I though powder coating might just be the way to go.
You could have them professionally sprayed like I did. With the right products it will hold up well and look 10x better. As of note CTS-V brakes are body color painted.Good call...this is looking more like a situation for the g2 product. Anyone have any personal experience with g2?
