In search of an Avalanche Gray Shelby GT350. No preference on if the car has the factory stripes/if they have been removed, nor do I have a preference on the black roof.

If anyone knows of one available besides the one listed in Illinois on this forum, please let me know! I have been wanting this spec for a while!

What I like about avalanche is that the shade seems to change in varying light conditions.

Same thing happens on leadfoot. Ford did a good job on making some or these colors dynamic.

That’s probably my favorite part about it. When its really sunny it looks white without being oxford white (at least to me) but in a bit more shade the gray really comes out

Thanks, I’ve been having a tough time finding what I want because I want the recaro seats / tech package combination and that seems hard to come by especially in AG

I was hell bent to buy a AG color with the 'fat man' cooled seats. They are a lot harder to find. I even went to Charlotte, NC to go look at one from Detroit, but when I got there, it was white. I though it was just the pictures were showing the 'primer' shade really light, because their posting showed it was Avalanche Grey. After going down, all they could say was "opps, we better change that". It was still a beautiful car...I almost bought it anyways

In the end, I just got a 2019 as the Performance Blue also looked nice to me, and it was a hell of a deal. I wanted blind spot monitoring, the B&O stereo, snake mud lights, etc and was hoping this new engine was better. But if I had found an AG with the wider seats with decent miles, it would be in my garage. But I also recognized I was impatient

One tip: if you can get a 2017, that was the year they ALL had the 'track pack' with the coolers, etc. There are some 2015/2016 out there that don't have them unless optioned as such!

I forgot that all 2017s started coming with that track pack, thanks for reminder! I don’t live far from Watkins Glen so it’s always been the first thing I look for.

I’ve also had that feeling looking at some dealer pics. Even though the car is in the sun, the car looked “too white” to be AG. Hell, I found one listed as an automatic the other day so anything’s possible
