I noticed recently a metallic sounding 'clunk' when changing between 'Park', and 'Reverse' or 'Drive' on my auto.
There's quite a lot of discussion of this over on the US side of the forum, but wondered if anyone here had experienced this. Seems most likely the problem lies with the output flange on the transmission.
I'll be popping into my dealer tomorrow so will bring this up but I'm bracing myself for the "it is a normal characteristic of the vehicle" line which is what some have been told in the US!
