Transmission/Gear box faults

I still think it could well be the same thing - I'm just hearing it come up from underneath through the easiest route which is the shift boot. It's probably a right racket underneath. Just a shame it doesn't do it in neutral. Would be a piece of cake to trace then.

Where abouts are you in Gloucestershire? Close to Swindon'ish? PM sent.

Stroud nearest town so 25 miles, definitely good to compare if we get the chance.

PM sent, there's a guy on here who was picking his car up which arrived the same time as mine who got told they found a fault with his gear box and not to bother collecting his car for the time being, I've spoken to him and i'm waiting to hear back, hopefully he'll see this thread and join in.
