Can you tell me more about the feel when you removed the spring? I mean the feel right now is so light and vague and the engagement point is hard to get right when up shifting on the track.
More linear and predictable as opposed to a two-stage release. I will do the same to my GT350R.

For some reason, my feet don't do well in the GT350 for Heel and toe. Regardless, the Auto-blip will increase your track times without having to heel and toe. Essentially, you are leveling the playing field with the GT3, GT3RS, GT4, and other cars that rev match. Plus, the auto blip is a controlled way of heel and toe that will save your transmission in the long run. It is easy to mis-shift in the heat of the moment wile on the track.

In my opinion, it is worth every penny if you want to focus more on hitting apexes correctly and looking into your next turn quicker without having to worry about rev matching.

In my GT3RS with PDK, every 3 shifts will gain a car length compared to a manual shift. Think about that...

Here is the last video I made with the resonator delete. You can hear the rev matching in the video...

Just for shits and giggles, here is a video of the GT3RS with my new dual camera and microphone setup. I still think the GT350 is the best sounding factory car in production, even compared to the higher end cars QUOTE

Excellent quality on these vids, 635.

What is the thickness of these spacers?
1/2". I'm sure one could find or fabricate something cheaper from Home Depot, but I'm in a rush. I'll report once they're installed.

I just bought the budget version:

Space City Spy Heel Toe Spacers.
LOL. I think I'll try this route as well. These freaking mods can nickel and dime a driver to death. What the hell- My track days are so far apart that I forget how to "heel and toe" effectively anyway. :kickrock: Still saving up for a cooler or two, so every penny counts at this point. Good catch Spacey.

Oh man I drove a '16 Porsche GT4 today with the built in auto blip at the shift gate. Man that thing is awesome. No buttons to hit, you can either brake or just be coasting and when it senses you hitting the shift gate for a lower gear it just blips 100% perfectly with beautiful exhaust crackle. Wish our cars did that. How do you guys think the auto-blip compares to something like the baked-in function in the GT4?

Heck, the Camaro has it standard...and the oem rev matching is far better that the AutoBlip.

So you think the auto blip sucks? I can heel-toe but man after driving the GT4 I'm no where near as fast with heel-toe as I can be in the GT4 with the automatic rev matching at the shift gate since it rev matches perfectly in all conditions with no user input.

Not at all. I love my AutoBlip, I'd just prefer it to be a standard feature like the GT4 your drove or its direct competitor, the Camaro.

The AutoBlip works fine for me on the track, but it's not for every day use around town.

It still baffles me that Ford did not just program it into the ECU for 2017....that is all that is needed as well as a toggle switch.

The GT4 system is better, but the Auto-Blip is not a bad alternative for the GT350.

Is Rev matching something that could be programmed in the ECU aftermarket?

No reason it couldn't be. The autoblip takes its inputs from the existing brake and clutch sensors, then triggers the gas pedal sensor. All these things the ECU has access to.

Does the mustang have some kind of shift gate sensors too? Because one thing the GT4 did was detect which gear you're going to not just that you're shifting down. You don't have to touch the brake at all if you are just coasting down or want to pass someone hard on the street.
